In a surprising tweet Goodluck Jonathan’s former aide, Reno Omokri, has thanked President Buhari for completing the Lagos-Ibadan railway.
NEWS MAIL NG reports that Reno Omokri wrote that Goodluck Jonathan started the Lagos-Ibadan railway project, Buhari could have abandoned it but he completed it. For this Omokri thanked the man he swore to torment.
In a tweet, the former presidential aide wrote: “I must commend General Buhari for completing the Lagos-Ibadan railway project.
“Although this project was initiated and started by the @GEJonathan government, the Buhari administration finished it. They could have abandoned it, but they did not. For that, they should be commended!”
Buhari yesterday inaugurated the 157km double track Lagos-Ibadan standard gauge.
The inauguration ceremony took place in Lagos.
