Ghana looks like the bride for foreign investors in West Africa.
NEWS MAIL reports that Germany has joined Twitter in situating the headquarter for its West African Centre for Global Health and Pandemic Prevention in Ghana.
This was disclosed by Christoph Retzlaff, German Ambassador to Ghana in a tweet on Thursday April 15, 2021. He said that the centre in Ghana will be one of eight others in the world.
“Excellent news: Germany will support launch of a new “German-West African Center for Global Health and Pandemic Prevention.
“It will be located in Ghana and be part of 8 new centers worldwide to fight global challenges.”
This is coming days after Jack Dorsey, the CEO of microblogging platform, Twitter, announced that the African headquarter of the social media giant will be situated in Ghana.
This is still generating controversies.
