Femi Fani-Kayode has received the AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine after calling the vaccine evil that would “result in millions of death”.

In April 2020, the former minister had described the COVID-19 vaccine as an evil that would “result in millions of deaths”.

News Mail Nigeria reports that Femi Fani-Kayode in April 2020 called the vaccine an evil that would result in millions of death, he also in May 2020 when news of developments of different vaccine options became public condemned it and alleged that people were turned into “guinea pigs” .  He also called the vaccine Gates’ killer vaccine for population control.

“WHO are set to begin Covid 19 vaccine trials in our country. EVIL! Not only have our people been turned into Guinea pigs to test Gates’ killer vaccine but our leaders are also passing a law which will make the use of that evil vaccine compulsory. What a mess! I weep for Nigeria,” he had written.

The former Aviation Minister on Tuesday after taking the vaccine said he has bowed to sound logic and superior reasoning and has taken the AstraZeneca vaccine. He thanked Senator Grace Bent for convincing him to take the vaccine.

“This is thanks to my sister, the distinguished Senator Grace Bent, who convinced me to take it and who emphasized that we must set an example to others,” he tweeted.

“I also give thanks to my sister, Hon. Patricia Etteh, the former Speaker of the House of Representatives, who is the Chairman of the National Hospital & who not only let me eat all HER lunch in her office before the exercise took place, but who also gave us a warm reception and guided us through the whole exercise.

“Her whole team and staff at the hospital were simply wonderful & very efficient & supportive & consequently the whole exercise was very pleasant. This is a clear case of ‘never say never’.

“If anyone had told me that I would take this vaccine up until one month ago, I would have said ‘no way’. I am glad that I changed my mind & did so because it has brought comfort to many around me who insisted that I must stay healthy & safe at all costs.

“I recommend the vaccine to others and I assure you that National Hospital in Abuja is a great place to take it. Covid is real & has killed many people, including dozens that I knew & loved, over the last one year. Let us fulfill all righteousness, follow the protocols, sanitise regularly, maintain social distancing, stay healthy.”

In defense of his deceptive action, Femi Fani-Kayode , said if US President, Donald Trump could “take the vaccine even after criticizing and questioning it, then so can I”.

Another staunch COVID-19 vaccine foe has also bowed to “sound logic”, Femi Fani-Kayode’s friend, Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello. His state is about to start vaccinating citizens. This is coming after he on several occasions condemned the vaccine.

Governor Yahaya Bello

Yahaya Bello said :

Vaccines are being produced in less than one year of COVID-19. There is no vaccine yet for HIV, malaria, cancer, headache and for several other diseases that are killing us. They want to use the (COVID-19) vaccines to introduce the disease that will kill you and us. God forbid,” he said.

“We should draw our minds back to what happened in Kano during the Pfizer polio vaccines that crippled and killed our children. We have learned our lessons.

“If they say they are taking the vaccines in the public allow them take their vaccines. Don’t say I said you should not take it but if you want to take it open your eyes before you take the vaccines.
