Shehu Sani has reacted to the news of the kidnap of eight Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) in Kaduna State.
News Mail NG gathered that the eight Redeemed Christian Church of God members were kidnapped by bandits. The incident happened on Friday evening while they were travelling along Kachia Road in southern Kaduna.
Elder Adaji the head of the RCCG men’s fellowship in the province said they were going to Kachia for evangelical outreach before they got ambushed by bandits.
Elder Adaji told Channels Tv that the bandits transferred the eight RCCG members to another vehicle and zoomed off leaving the church bus.
Reacting to the sad news, Shehu Sani, former senator representing Kaduna Central, confirmed the incident on twitter and advised Pastors and Imams who want to move to the rural areas to minister during Easter and Ramadan to preach to suspend action.
“The report of the Kidnapping of RCCG members along Kachia road in Kaduna is yet another tragedy.Bandits have turned our state into their hub;B4 one kidnap is resolved, another one is unfolding. Humans have become preys.On entry you meet their snare, on exit you meet their ambush.
To the Imams in our own part of the country who wants to move to the villages to preach during Ramadan; To the Pastors who wants to move to the rural areas to minister during Easter, suspend action; Bandits are Godless.”
