A family in Warri, Delta State has appealed to Christ Embassy not to take over their family house after their son, Shedrack , sowed it as seed to the church.
News Mail Nigeria gathered that Shedrack became very religious last year after relocating to Nigeria from abroad, the family didn’t have issues with that.
In 2020, Shedrack sowed his car as a seed to Christ Embassy and the family didn’t raise a finger against his action.
The problem started when he donated the family house to Christ Embassy few months ago without any member of the family knowing.
The family was shocked when Shedrack’s father saw men going round the structure viewing the property.
After investigation, he was told that his house now belongs to Christ Embassy and has been valued at N25 million !
The building was built on the family land with money contributed by every member of the family but Shedrack is said to have contributed the lion’s share. It is presently occupied by Shedrack’s father, his cousins and 4 tenants who pay rent.
Shedrack’s father said that the letter he wrote to the senior pastor of Christ Embassy in Warri over a month has not yielded any fruit even after the senior pastor promised to take action.
To fight for his house, he has reported to the police and lawyered up, Christ Embassy did same .
In a statement the old man has appealed to General Overseer of Christ Embassy, Chris Oyakhilome to help him out.
