Former Chelsea FC Manager and current Tottenham Hotspur boss, Jose Mourinho , has said Frank Lampard doesn’t want to speak with him or anybody.
NEWS MAIL NG reports that Frank Lampard was sacked after managing Chelsea Football Club for 18 months. Mourinho spoke on his former player’s sack hours after Tottenham Hotspur secured their place in the fifth round of the FA Cup. Tottenham smiled home from Wycombe with a 4-1 victory.
“I don’t think Frank wants to speak to me or with anyone apart from his close circle of family and friends,” Mourinho said.
“But I am always sad when a colleague loses his job and Frank is not just a colleague. He is an important person in my career so I feel sorry he did.
“But it is the brutality of football, especially modern football, so when you become a manager, you know that sooner or later it is going to happen to you.”
You would recall that Frank Lampard played under Mourinho at Stamford Bridge from 2004-2007 and again in 2013 . Lampard and Mourinho won two Premier League titles, two Carabao Cups, an FA Cup and a Community Shield together.
Chelsea Football Club sacked Mourinho twice so he knows how this pill tastes.
